Job Description |
[Job Summary] Sales activities for electronic components for data center customers (existing and new). The customer is a major company headquartered in the United States. The products are custom-designed according to the specifications of the customer's servers. Through business trips, etc., I obtain information on new projects from customers, make design proposals with the in-house technical department, and lead both inside and outside the company to connect them to mass production orders after sample shipments, quotation submissions, and competitions. There are two patterns, either directly with customers or through overseas sales companies, about half of which are done. With existing customers, we have regular telephone conferences several times a week. [Attractions and rewards of working in this department] Working directly with several major American companies that are world-famous and currently the fastest growing. [Frequency of business trips] A total of 2-3 times a year to the United States, 2-3 times to the Philippines where the factory is located, and 1-2 times to other Asian regions. [Difficulties of working in this department] The abilities of customer representatives and the level expected of suppliers are high in both quality and quantity, so we need to respond quickly. Furthermore, there are many changes in specifications, schedules, etc., which require negotiations and adjustments both inside and outside the company.
