Job Description 【Responsibilities】
Web application development, including the addition of new functions, performance improvements, technical improvements and innovations, using offshore development (subsidiary in Vietnam) for any of the products in the Rakuraku series (Rakuraku Seisan, Rakuraku Meisai, Rakuraku Kintai).

【e.g.】
1.Management of development work for Vietnamese subsidiaries.
・Understand and communicate the contents of specifications/designs prepared by Japanese designers so that they can be understood smoothly.
・Progress management of outsourced development projects.
・Review of source code/unit test item documents, implementation of acceptance tests and quality checks.

2. Support to the Vietnamese subsidiary
・Understand the content of the question/consultation and reply in a clear and understandable manner.
・In cases where the decision cannot be fully made, organise the content and consult with Japanese engineers to resolve the issue.
・Improvement activities to improve productivity/quality/development utilisation rate/technical capabilities of Vietnamese subsidiaries.

3. Business trips to Vietnamese subsidiaries
 Business trips to offshore development sites to understand the current situation, share know-how and strengthen relationships.
 (On the Vietnamese side, there is a Japanese representative and local PM/PL/development members.
 *Assumed to be from 2 weeks to 1 month, 1-2 times a year.
 *No business trips until the corona-virus social situation settles down.

【Development Structure】
Team development with around 5-10 people, most of whom are full-time employees.
Basic structure: managers/management leaders/technical specialist leaders/development members.
Vietnamese engineers: Several Vietnamese engineers on the Japanese side who can speak Japanese.
Japanese engineers: several interpreters on the Vietnamese side, so work in Vietnamese or English is not required.

【Required】
・3+ years of experience in web application development with Java, RDB and Linux
・1+ years of experience in offshore development
・Experience in reviewing design documents and code
・Japanese business level language skills
 *N2 equivalent or above, native Japanese speakers are of course welcome.

・Experience in problem solving and improvement activities
・Experience in quality control operations
・Experience of overseas business trips
