Experience in Azure cloud (Mandatory) and add on cloud (AWS/GCP/Alibaba) as optional. DB migration architect experience (SQL (mandatory), MYSQL, Postgres SQL, Cassendra(optional), different DB migration methods and Tools. Understanding customer DB SQL server landscape Configuring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure with multiple subnets and multiple regions, Availability set Configuring and Administering Security/Policies/Resource Governing/Azure Key Vault Migrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, Backup & restore and various other migration methods. Knowledge /Experience on other DBs like MY SQL , Casandra , Mongo DB and OSS DB (Min. 2 ) Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly Driving the cloud Solutioning Azure activities for large complex migration Installing and configuring SQL Server all the version (200x to 2022) Hands on experience on Windows and SQL servers issues and troubleshooting. Knowledge on Azure cloud and Landing Zone |
