Job Description Collaborate with space systems engineers, mission control, and data scientists to understand IT requirements for various space missions and projects.
Design, deploy, and maintain IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to support space operations and data analysis.
Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of IT systems, including cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive space-related data.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network components, servers, storage systems, and communication links.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate specialized space-related software and tools into the IT environment.
Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures or emergencies.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose and implement innovative IT solutions for space missions.
Provide technical support to mission control and space operations teams during critical phases of space missions.
Contribute to documentation, including system architecture, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Providing Cloud Service support on multiple networks for engineering teams.
Being aware of Security frameworks NIST, ISO27001:2022, and CUI frameworks.
Manage cloud infrastructure including the deployment of software releases and patches.
Set up and maintain monitoring infrastructure.
Automate routine tasks using automation tools and/or scripts.
Manage cloud infrastructure costs; suggest ways to optimize costs.
Proactively identify and recommend monitoring and security tools to deploy.
Control access to infrastructure systems using Azure. 
Maintain documentationand experience with ITIL processes
Work directly with AWS and space agencies in Luxembourg, US and Japan
Business travel may be required.

Job
Requirements		 +5 years of proven experience as a System Engineer, Network engineer or similar role
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Ability to create scripts in Linux sh, Windows bat or other language
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in: Computer Science or Engineering
Based in Japan
English Level Business Conversation Level (TOEIC 735-860)
Japanese Level Business Level(JLPT Level 2 or N2)
Salary JPY - Japanese Yen JPY 6000K - JPY 9000K
