You will be responsible for the development of ebica's web applications for stores and end-users, as well as the addition of functions to and operation and maintenance of systems built mainly in Golang / echo. The development cycle is a two-week sprint release cycle using Scrum, and although the system was renewed in May 2024, there are still some systems built on Java, Python, and other Golang frameworks, and you will be responsible for replacing these systems. While continuing to develop the above functions, you will also promote design and refactoring based on product growth and productivity improvement, and lead development. Although ebica is not a system that is always under high traffic, there are seasonal increases in demand, increases in traffic due to store opening times that can be predicted to some extent, as well as increases in traffic that are difficult to predict due to campaigns, media exposure, etc., and the system must be able to withstand these demands. On the other hand, it is also important to be able to design a cost-effective architecture for periods and times when the system is not in use. As the product grows, it will become more important to design and implement a back-end service that is scalable, reliable, and also cost effective. The company is looking for someone with a strong interest in solving these issues and providing a stable service to customers. Currently, they are developing products by introducing Scrum into the development system. As it is a small organization, you can also be in charge of front-end development with back-end development at the core of your work.
