Job Description We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Business Development Manager to expand our footprint within the FMCG industry in Tokyo, Japan. This role demands strategic thinking, an eye for detail, and the ability to build long-lasting business relationships.


Description

* Develop and implement effective business strategies to boost company sales within the sector.
* Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the FMCG industry.
* Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
* Conduct market research to understand trends and competitive landscape in the food sector.
* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
* Prepare reports on sales performance and market trends.
* Participate in industry events to increase brand awareness and network with potential clients.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulation


Profile

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

* A degree in business, marketing, or a related field - experience of on-premise channel will be crucial
* Proven experience in business development or similar roles within the FMCG industry
* Strong understanding of the food sector and its trends
* Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Proficiency in English and Japanese
* Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple priorities
* Strong analytic skills and strategic thinking
