Description

* This is a leadership role within the Japan Finance team, responsible for ensuring strong financial governance and compliance.
* Ensure all internal and external financial reporting requirements are met, including statutory accounts and compliance with tax, legal, and other regulations.
* Maintain robust financial controls over reporting processes, internal control requirements, and compliance with Japan SOX and global standards.
* Ensure adherence to group accounting policies, accurately reflecting transactions and significant events in financial statements in a timely manner.
* This role offers the opportunity to work in a globally recognized organization, contributing to a high-performing finance team while gaining regional exposure and leadership experience.


Profile

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

* Business level English and fluency in Japanese.
* Accounting or finance related certificates are a plus. (not mandatory).
* Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager.
* Strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes.
* Understanding of data analysis and forecasting.
* Proficiency in MS Office and relevant accounting software.
* Good communication and leadership skills.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
