Job Description AR Accountant to support the local team and communicate with the global team | Work-life balance, career path, flexible working


Description

* Generate and send invoices, monitor payments, and address discrepancies with internal teams.
* Accurately record and apply payments, ensuring timely collections and follow-ups on overdue invoices.
* Proactively manage outstanding accounts, resolve billing issues, and collaborate with teams to address concerns.
* Regularly reconcile receivables, identify discrepancies, and initiate collection efforts as needed.
* Prepare AR reports, analyze trends, assess customer credit, and recommend credit limit adjustments.
* Ensure compliance with policies, support financial audits, and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.


Profile

* 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or billing.
* Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
* Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in financial reporting.
* Effective communicator with customers and teams.
* Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and deadlines.
* Fluent in Japanese and English with solid accounting knowledge.
