Job Description |
You will be working at Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd. (DHI) and will be responsible for the following tasks based on the business outsourcing agreement between DHI and the Singapore REIT management company (DHAMA, a wholly owned subsidiary of DHI). The tasks are broadly divided into [1] SREIT vehicles and [2] management companies. ① S-REIT related ※ The following tasks will be partially shared with other members. ・Accounting and settlement of accounts for Japanese SPCs (TMK, GK) invested by SREIT (including management, review, and schedule management of tasks outsourced to Japanese accounting firms) ・Support for quarterly/half-yearly/year-end settlement of accounts for SREIT (consolidated), dividends twice a year ・Support for budget formulation, annual settlement and disclosure (including annual report), and audit response for SREIT (consolidated) ・Support for other tasks that arise on the Singapore side ② DHAMA (Singapore, less than 20 employees) ※ The following tasks will basically be performed by yourself under the supervision of your supervisor in Singapore. ・Budget formulation, settlement (quarterly/end of fiscal year), bookkeeping, cash inflows and outflows, etc. ・Preparation of local financial statements, audit response ・Cash management (CF forecast, payment management, etc.) ・Accounting and management reporting to parent company (Japan) *In addition to the above, after the establishment of a domestic subsidiary (planned to be a few people), the company's accounting and general affairs will also be included in the scope of work. |

[Requirements] - Business level English conversation skills * Interaction with financial personnel of Singaporean companies - Accounting and tax practices in Japanese real estate funds - Basic understanding of IFRS (J-GAAP is used for individual accounting of Japanese SPCs, IFRS is used for consolidated accounting of S-REITs) - Practical experience in consolidated accounting of multiple subsidiaries |
