[Recruitment background] In the coming phase of the company, we will further accelerate our business growth by evolving the matching algorithm, so we would like to strengthen our team by welcoming new personnel who can build and operate data integration between the product backend and the search engine (ElasticSearch) to improve the search experience. [Organizational structure of the department you will be assigned to] You will be assigned to the "R&D Group". The R&D Group is composed of three teams: The "Search and Recommendation Growth Team", "Marketing Development Team", and "ML and Data Infrastructure Team". Engineers account for about 1/3 of all employees, with about 80 engineers on staff, and new members are being added every month. [What we want you to do] In order to expand our service, our mission is to provide Coconala users with a high-quality experience, starting with the search system used by users. To achieve this, you will be in charge of data engineering in the R&D Group. You will be responsible for building and operating a data infrastructure (DWH) and ETL environment (data extraction, processing, and export) that provides reliable data for activities that require data, such as improving search experiences using machine learning and data-driven decision-making. Specifically Platform design/construction/operation of search system Platform design/construction/operation of recommendation system Platform design/construction/operation of fraud detection system Define and maintain SLO, SLI of data collection platform Manage and operate data analysis tools [Who will you interact with and how?] Collaborate with the data science department to analyze KPIs related to product matching, data integration with BI environment, joint development of recommendation functions, etc. Collaborate with the product management department to jointly develop UX improvements for search/recommendations, etc. Collaborate with the CS/health department to build fraud detection algorithms and detection platforms, etc. Collaborate with the infrastructure department to build machine learning platforms and microservices for search platforms, etc. |
