Job Description [Ship management support in English]
We communicate with ships using the port and support safe and efficient navigation.
We input ship movement information obtained through various means into our dedicated management system.
We also keep track of ship movements in and out of the port and respond to customer inquiries.

This job involves protecting the safety of ports in Japan.
You will communicate with ships using radio.
You will exchange various information in English, such as reporting the status of ship docking.
It may be easier to understand if you think of it as a "port controller."
By obtaining the relevant qualifications, the range of tasks assigned to you will gradually expand.
Those without knowledge or experience can also take on the challenge!
We have a comprehensive support system for in-house training and obtaining the necessary qualifications.

Working Hours [2 shifts] * Variable work hours system (1 month)
① 9:00-17:00 (actual work hours: 7 hours/break: 60 minutes)
② 17:00-9:00 (actual work hours: 14 hours/break: 120 minutes)
* About 10 hours of overtime per month (up to 6 times a year, such as for troubleshooting or before holidays, up to 72 hours per month/720 hours per year)

Trade Administration

-Business level Japanese (N2 equivalent) *Conversational ability equivalent to N1 is even better

-Able to read and write Japanese

-Able to use honorific business language in Japanese

-English proficiency of TOEIC 650 or higher

-University Japanese Department Graduate

*Able to handle relevant duties such as technical/humanities/international business

*Able to work in Japan

Housing allowance available (15,000 yen/month *only if working in Oita Prefecture. Housing is a personal contract)
Bonus available (twice a year/6.5 months per year) *50,000 yen paid for the first time only, regular amount paid from the second time onwards.
