Job Description The Senior Manager for HR will be the leader of the HR team and key representative to the regional and global business. This position will partner closely with business leaders in Japan, HR COE leads, HRBPs to implement HR programs and talent plans that support the business strategy, talent strategy and culture development across the company's brands.


Description

Business Partnering:

* Collaborate with business and functional leaders to optimize organizational performance.
* Offer advice and consultation on total rewards, organizational development, and cultural initiatives aligned with business objectives.
* Foster a deep understanding of business strategy through close connection with business units.
* Provide HR guidance and leadership while translating business needs to CoE and Global HR teams.
* Implement HR change management in alignment with global HR strategy.

Employee Journey HR Processes:

* Guide key HR processes aligned with local business needs and Global HR goals:

* Workforce planning budgeting and forecasting.
* Talent acquisition and management, including succession planning.
* Performance management.
* Learning and development.
* Internal communication, employee engagement, and DEI.
* Employee and labor relations.

Employee Experience:

* Drive HR initiatives to enhance employee experience based on survey findings and market studies.
* Improve employee value proposition to attract and retain top talent and drive business success.
* Ensure seamless execution of global programs, policies, and initiatives in collaboration with the Global HR team.

People Management:

* Manage and develop team members according to their needs.
* Foster high engagement and motivation within the team.


Profile

Work Experience:



* 10+ years progressive HR experience with increasing scope as an HRBP (or closely related function) in a matrixed, high-growth environment
* 4+ years leading a team of HR professionals at varying levels of experience; Experience successfully coaching, developing, and mentoring a distributed team.
* Experience collaborating closely with COEs, regional/global HR leaders, and senior business leaders, developing solutions in partnership.
* Demonstrated experience influencing and establishing trusting partnerships.



Skills/Competencies:



* Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to generate insights and recommendations for business.
* Excellent verbal and written English.
* A collaborative, humble, and team-minded HR leader who sees the big picture and can flex easily between leading a team while working deeply in the details.
* Good judgement and ability to balance the needs of the business, culture, managers and employees.
* Good knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion and how to apply principles across the employee lifecycle.
* Demonstrated business acumen and problem-solving skills; Good understanding of people analytics and how to leverage insights to inform talent solutions.
