| Job Description |
* Coordinate the movement of inventory from overseas site to local warehouse * Collaborate with logistics vendors to handle importing and storage processes Description * Work with internal stakeholders to understand customers' needs and supply capabilities of overseas factories * Monitor movement of inventory from overseas factory to local warehouse, maintaining master data and checking for discrepancies * Collaborate with logistics vendors to arrange transportation for inbound and outbound shipments in a timely and cost-effective manner * Ensure that shipments meet customs requirements and prepare necessary documentation for the importing process * Optimize inventory by preventing stock shortages and minimizing excess stock * Identify areas for improvement in logistics operations, while effectively controlling costs Profile * Minimum 2 years of logistics experience * Experience working in a manufacturing company or third-party logistics provider * Experience collaborating with third-party logistics vendors * Fluent Japanese skills required and business level English skills preferred * Must be a resident of Japan and/or must hold a valid working visa for Japan Job Offer * Opportunity to work for a machinery manufacturing company with a stable history * Opportunity to work as part of a tight-knit team * Opportunity to manage all logistics process * Opportunity to pursue future career path in management * Competitive salary package and benefits * Hybrid remote work option available To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
