| Job Description |
The primary focus of the Senior Logistics Specialist is to ensure efficiency in logistics operations by effectively managing 3PL and transportation vendors, and spearheading initiatives to enhance their performance. This position will be based in their Tokyo office and will be part of a Logistics team, which covering around 10 Warehouses across Japan region. Description * Ensure smooth daily operations for shipments and receipt of goods in regional distribution centers, adhering to quality standards. * Develop relationships with 3PL providers to improve productivity and cost efficiency. * Manage logistics suppliers and handle invoices promptly and accurately. * Participate in audits and inventory counts for compliance. * Oversee logistics for international and domestic 3rd Party Manufacturers. * Coordinate international transportation operations and collaborate with forwarders. * Work with the Quality Food Safety Department to enhance shipment quality. Profile * Customer service, 3PL, and logistics operations experience required. * Familiarity with warehouse or local transport management is preferred. * Knowledge of import/export forwarding or forwarder management is advantageous. * Ability to collaborate across functions and manage cross-functional tasks effectively. * Proficiency in Excel at an advanced level is essential.
