You will be responsible for managing team members and resolving quality, service, and other operational and supply chain issues. One of your roles will be to manually develop the capabilities of the Japanese supply chain team. Manage supply chain team to adhere to standards and best practices. ② Prepare monthly and weekly production requirements and inventory plans as master scheduler. Prepare monthly and weekly production requirements and inventory plans according to demand requirements from SOP planning process. Responsible for master planning for multiple manufacturers. Implement and execute strategies, policies and rules in collaboration with relevant departments. 【Duties】 - Provide local information to update 24-month demand, supply and inventory plans in collaboration with global master planners. - Communicate required information from supply chain to business and relevant departments on a regular basis. - Manage and coordinate local execution of business policies and rules for compliance across each site or country. - Manage inventory targets and ensure alignment with provided targets. - Evaluate supply chain performance, prepare improvement plans and oversee correction plans. - Have authority to define execution policies for make to order (MTO), make to stock (MTS), lead times, etc. - Monitor supply status of replenishment plans to prevent supply interruptions. - Develop and manage the Japan team to improve the capabilities of the entire supply chain. - Management of SOX Act, import/export, etc. in Japan. - Management of master schedules. - Propose appropriate disposal of non-productive inventory. - Optimization of MPS plans (Master Production Schedules), including costs and capacity. |
