| Job Description |
The mission of an embedded systems software project leader concerns the on-board computer (OBC) of our satellites throughout its whole life-cycle, which includes design, development, testing, and troubleshooting as a project leader. Goal Oriented and Result Driven Aim for overall optimization, not only the code, or even the team, but the entire organization Autonomy, ability to work from a technical specification or write your own Emphasis on collaboration and teamwork Share the knowledge: be a mentor for others and learn from others Responsibilities - Create software development plan based on project plan with software Tech-Lead - Assign tasks to team members, monitor and manage development progress - Communicate, collaborate with other teams, report software development status to project management team - Risk management, schedule management - Develop strategy to effectively and efficiently manage the increasing number of satellite projects, propose and implement process improvements - Create software specifications based on satellite system specifications and other satellite component specifications - Support satellite operations during the initial operation phase and during the troubleshooting process |

College or university graduation qualifications related to electrical, computer science, control engineering, mechatronics and other engineering. Technical Skills 1)Project leader or Team leader experience 2)Requirement analysis, writing specification documents 3)Embedded software development using C and/or C++ 4)Requirement analysis, writing specification documents 5)General understanding of common hardware: micro-controller, UART/SPI/I2C, RTC, etc. 6)Comfortable with command line tools (i.e., bash, git, gdb, etc.) Language Skills (one of the following): Business English and Basic Japanese or Basic English and Business Japanese |
