Job Description Senior Accountant position to support the Accounting team to cover the Japan business | WFH option available with flex time, global working environment, career path


Description

* Ensure timely month-end closing and drive process efficiency
* Collaborate with Managed Service Provider for accounting transactions
* Maintain comprehensive control structures for Corporate Accounting
* Manage internal control over financial reporting for key areas
* Handle local statutory filings, audits, and tax-related work
* Develop influential relationships across teams and functions
* Demonstrate mastery of US GAAP, particularly in Corporate Accounting and Tax.


Profile

* Relevant experience in public accounting or multinational firms
* Experience with ERP systems
* Ability to translate business needs into operational processes
* Effective communication and influencing skills
* Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
* Demonstrated integrity and confidentiality
* Fluent in Japanese and English
* Proficient in Microsoft Office for analysis and reporting
