Job Description Be at the forefront of Japan's clean energy shift. This role offers you the chance to identify and secure land for cutting-edge renewable energy projects across the country.


Description

* Identify and assess land opportunities for utility-scale solar, wind, and BESS projects.
* Build and manage relationships with landowners, communities, and agents.
* Conduct due diligence on land, including zoning, topography, and grid access.
* Lead negotiations for lease or purchase agreements in coordination with legal and development teams.
* Maintain a comprehensive land origination database and monitor local regulations and constraints.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project development.
* Represent the company in meetings with local stakeholders and authorities.


Profile

A successful Land Origination Manager should have:

* Bachelor's degree in real estate, engineering, environmental studies, or related field.
* Experience in land origination, real estate, or renewable energy development in Japan.
* Strong negotiation skills and ability to independently close land agreements.
* Solid understanding of Japanese land use laws, zoning, and permitting processes.
* Fluent Japanese required; English proficiency is a plus.
* Willingness to travel frequently within Japan.
