| Job Description |
Join a global insurer's Tokyo-based Operational Risk team, acting as a second-line control function across business and tech domains. This is a hands-on opportunity to oversee operational incidents, support internal control enhancements, and manage Effective Control Framework implementation across the organization. Description * Manage operational incident lifecycle, including impact analysis and root cause assessments * Coordinate response, reporting, and FSA communication for personal information breaches * Drive improvements through trend analytics and system/process upgrades * Support risk governance by assessing controls, facilitating ORM trainings, and tracking action plans * Lead cross-functional coordination for policy alignment and digital risk tool implementation (iRisk, Power BI, etc.) * Continuously improve risk frameworks (ECF) in line with NN Group and FSA requirements Profile * Experience in Operational Risk, Audit, or Internal Control functions * Strong bilingual communication (Japanese & English) * Skilled in cross-team facilitation and collaborative coordination * Proactive, growth-oriented attitude with the ability to multi-task * Power BI or data analysis/reporting experience preferred * Familiarity with financial services or insurance environments is a plus Job Offer * Engage with local and global stakeholders, including HQ in Europe * Career growth potential into ORM Manager or Risk Specialist roles * Hybrid work flexibility and exposure to digital transformation tools To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
