Join the credit risk planning team at a top-tier financial institution, driving critical oversight functions within Mizuho's risk division. In this planning-oriented role, you'll take ownership of credit policy frameworks, portfolio monitoring, internal rating systems, and management reporting. This is a rare opportunity to influence credit risk practices while supporting executive-level meetings and global coordination. Description Depending on your background, you will be assigned to one of the following focus areas: 1 Credit Risk Governance & Planning * Oversee credit policy, internal ratings, self-assessment, write-offs, and provisioning * Lead credit portfolio monitoring and reporting * Drive credit risk model management and enhancements 1 Departmental Planning & Operations * Prepare business plans and track progress toward goals * Coordinate overseas branch reporting and oversight * Act as secretary for executive committee meetings related to risk Profile * Professional experience at a bank, insurer, asset manager, or consulting firm * Collaborative mindset with high accountability and adaptability * (Preferred) Credit risk or credit review experience * (Preferred) Experience in planning or governance roles at a large enterprise * (Preferred) Strong presentation skills and stakeholder communication * (Preferred) Business-level English Job Offer * Contribute to one of Japan's most important credit governance teams * Collaborate with domestic and global branches in a planning-focused career track To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
