Job Description The Demand Planner will serve as the vital link in procurement and supply chain within the Life Science industry. This role requires a strategic thinker, who can manage and predict demand, ensuring that inventory levels are kept at most efficient levels.


Description

* Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
* Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
* Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
* Ensure supply meets demand in collaboration with other departments.
* Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to understand demand forecast drivers.
* Utilize software to monitor trends and forecast future needs.
* Present, solicit, and assess feedback on the various forecasts from sales and finance.
* Drive process improvements within the demand planning function.


Profile

A successful 'Demand Planner' should have:

* A degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
* Proven experience in demand planning.
* Familiarity with forecast models and inventory management.
* Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
* Proficient in MS Office, relational databases, and ERP systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A strong attention to detail.
