Ahead Consulting is seeking a qualified Business Analyst in the Asset management space for an OMS related project in Tokyo. The Business Analyst will report to the Japan Head of IT and collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers and system vendors. Key responsibilities include: Documentation of all business knowledge, human workflows, and data flows. Gather detailed client requirements in order to create streamlined user stories, flow diagram, testing scenario for areas such as trade capture, trade confirmation, corporate action, Netting, position reconciliation, cash management, SWIFT messaging, collateral management. Maintain communication with respective business functions across Front and Back Office, Accounting, IT, Compliance, and Business Management. Get into deepest details on any individual topic that comes up during gap analysis, migration, or prod parallel. Communicate detail requirements, system design, test plan to other peer business analyst and implementation vendors. QA planning and testing for OMS, trading operational system, report repository, PMS, regulatory reporting. Asist end users training on OMS apps. Assist broad adoption and understanding of workflows related to investment guideline monitoring, how to avoid regulatory breaches. Extensive experience on BA / project management tools, such as MS-Excel, MS-Project, Lucid Chart, BRD, PowerQuery, Power BI. The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications: Direct day-to-day management and implementation experience with financial software systems such as BlackRock Aladdin, SimCorp, Bloomberg AIM, Tri-Optima, FAM, Singularity, or other similar large-scale projects. Experience doing detailed data troubleshooting. In-depth knowledge of asset management business and capital markets, including trading life cycle, operations, compliance, risk management, performance reporting, payments, and accounting. Knowledge of IT software development lifecycle. Deep expertise in fixed income and derivatives, with knowledge of private assets as a plus. Familiarity with asset management and capital markets technology products and system vendors. Working with Global teams in an synchronized and efficient manner. Bilingual Japanese and English fluency on a business level. |
