Job Description ■Job Description:
You will be responsible for all aspects of technical translation checker (quality control).
Specifically, you will check the quality of translation projects (mistranslations/omissions/compliance with customer specifications, etc.) and finalize the work.

[Translation check, DTP check]
You will understand the intent and nuance of the original text and check to ensure that the translation is natural and appropriate for the field and customer requirements.
You will check the layout of DTP-edited data according to the original text layout/specified template, etc.

[Evaluation/training/hiring of external translators]
You will summarize the review results and provide feedback to external translators as necessary to improve quality.
You will also evaluate the quality of trial translations for new external translators and consider whether to hire them.

Job
Requirements		 ＜Required＞
・University graduate or above
・Japanese: Native
・English: Eiken Grade 1 or TOEIC 900
・Experience in translation or translation checking as a working professional (1 year or more)
・Intermediate or higher PC skills (ability to use SUM, Vloookup, etc. in Excel)

・Experience using computer-assisted translation tools (Trados, Memsource, etc.)
