Intrepid Japan Co., Ltd. is a land operator under the umbrella of Intrepid Group, the largest travel group in the industry for small-scale adventure tours. As a global leader, we provide a wide range of diverse travel products to a wide range of customers, while also taking into consideration the effective use of local tourism resources and the impact on the global environment and local communities, and providing a variety of adventures where travelers can coexist with local culture. [Mission] Business negotiations with Intrepid Group and overseas partner companies, and planning and product development of travel packages (inbound to Japan for Europe, the United States, and Australia) 1. Negotiating with agents (tour content and price negotiations) Listen to requests from Intrepid Group and overseas partner companies, and aim to create competitive travel products that meet their needs. Also present and negotiate conditions and prices. 2. Creating tours that meet our standards, such as safety management and local revitalization: Build knowledge of safety practice guidelines, global Health & Safety policies, and SERT (Sustainable and Experiential Travel), and create travel products that meet our standards. 3. Work with other teams to support tours up to the tour date. Transmit necessary knowledge to other teams about the created travel products, and support smooth booking arrangements, negotiations with suppliers, and communication with tour guides. 4. Feedback analysis and product improvement: Regularly improve products based on feedback from customers and agents and opinions from other teams. 5. Regional revitalization: Support CBT (tourism development by local residents) efforts in Japan in partnership with suppliers. ◆Selection process◆ Document review (Japanese resume, Japanese job history, English CV) ↓ Interviews (2-3 times) *No written test ↓ Reference check (minimum 2 people) ↓ Offer presentation *The first interview will be an online interview, and the second interview will be an online or face-to-face interview. Working Hours |
9:00 to 18:00 (scheduled working hours 8 hours break 60 minutes) * The Intrepid Group has introduced flexible work tailored to each individual. (It is different from the conventional flextime system in Japan. Currently, we work 2 days in the office and 3 days in remote. ) |
Job Requirements |
[Requirements] ・Experience working in the travel or tourism industry ・English and Japanese skills necessary for conversation and writing (Japanese: fluent, English: intermediate business level) ・Computer processing ability, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) [Desired requirements] ・Experience in product development at an inbound travel agency ・Experience as a tour guide or tour conductor [Ideal personality] ・Able to determine priorities for multiple cases and efficiently adjust one's own workload ・Able to think from the customer's perspective and make rational decisions ・Able to work while communicating closely with members inside and outside the company ・Attentive and able to make quick and accurate decisions and processes ・Able to make proactive suggestions such as improving operation flows and developing new business ・Able to have a sense of humor and enjoy working |

Expected annual salary: 3.8 million yen and up (bonus not included) *Determined based on experience and ability -> Annual salary system (annual salary above paid in 12 installments/includes fixed overtime pay of 30 hours per month) Salary increase: There may be no salary increase depending on performance and other circumstances.
