Job Description |
Position Overview ・ Analyze appropriate inventory levels based on demand forecasts, and perform management that requires collecting and maintaining optimal inventory. ・ Responsible for systematically discovering problems and leading improvements, and building optimal product procurement processes for each process in Japan and overseas through improved business quality. ・ Manage suppliers of external manufacturers and forwarders, share and report information to related parties, and support operations. Job Responsibilities ・ Build, maintain, and operate processes that enable the creation of more accurate demand forecasts by deepening collaboration with sales, marketing, and finance functions. ・ Analyze demand and supply trends for each product, determine necessary opportunities and the occurrence of surplus inventory, and optimize domestic inventory. ・ Lead improvements to processes and business quality such as inventory planning, ordering, importing, and receiving, and contribute to shortening lead times, reducing costs, leveling out end-to-end operations, and maintaining and improving customer satisfaction regarding delivery dates. ・ Understand and collaborate with and manage the business content of suppliers (mainly international freight forwarders and external manufacturers) in order to obtain service level agreements and KPI values that have been signed with contracts that have been taken over from them. - Provide operational support such as procuring materials for external manufacturing facilities that perform repack and relabel operations, formulating production plans, and giving instructions when problems occur. - Establish and operate a compliance confirmation process in order to observe compliance related to outsourcing of customs clearance work. - Support and manage the work of the team's temporary employees. - Persistently communicate as necessary with members and suppliers both inside and outside the department, domestically and internationally, in order to carry out the group's business. - Make effective use of knowledge, work experience, and learning from both inside and outside the company, and contribute to improving the team's operations, knowledge, and business execution capabilities. - Take the lead in quickly correcting problems when they arise. |
