Primary skills: *Understanding customer DB SQL,Windows, Linux server landscape *Configuring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure with multiple subnets and multiple regions, Availability set *Configuring and Administering Security/Policies/Resource Governing/Azure Key Vault *Migrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, Backup & restore and various other migration methods. *Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly *Driving the cloud Solutioning Azure activities for large complex migration *Plan Storage and Capacity Management and create logical models and build physical models *Installing and configuring SQL Server all the versions (200x to 2022) *Hands on experience on Windows and SQL servers issues and troubleshooting. Secondary Skills: Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability in Azure On-Prem/Cloud upgrade of SQL Server from Legacy version to latest versions in Azure Good knowledge in T-SQL scripting & PowerShell script Good understanding of Database Performance using various tools Conforming to client compliances and expectations Certifications (Good to have) Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate DP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions |
