Job Description	As the Director of Public Affairs, you will lead strategic communication efforts to promote the mission and values of the Company within the animal health sector, fostering positive relationships and advocacy. Description * Develop and implement comprehensive public affairs strategies aligned with business objectives and industry regulations. * Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, veterinarians, and pet owners. * Lead advocacy efforts to influence policies and regulations that impact the pet food industry. * Monitor and analyze public opinion, market trends, and regulatory developments to inform communication strategies. * Oversee crisis communication planning and response, ensuring the protection of the company's reputation and interests. * Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to integrate public affairs initiatives into broader marketing and business plans. Profile * Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. * Proven experience in public affairs, corporate communications, or government relations within the animal health or related industry. * Strong network and understanding of regulatory frameworks and public policy issues relevant to the pet food sector. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. * Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex information into compelling messages for diverse audiences.
