Excellent Systems Operations Engineer Opportunity for Specialists in DevOps and Cloud Technology at an established Japanese E-Commerce Retail Giant! This position welcomes English Only Speakers! Description (1) Provisioning and Operation * Cluster/Node Provisioning * Alert/Incident Handling * OS/Middleware Update * Security Requirement Satisfaction * Structure Improvement * Midnight Release, Midnight Monitoring * Operation Manual Creation * Risk Analysis of Production Environment Operation (2) Operation Improvement and Automation * Node self healing : automate further for multiple cases which are not automated yet * Cluster/Node auto provisioning : automate further for full automation, including integration with other system, integration test, load test, failure test. (3) User Support and Migration Support * Support the migration from the legacy platform to new private cloud (kubernetes, mesos/marathon, cloud foundry) * Support special cases which the separate user support group cannot handle Profile Required Skills: * Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Holder (If the candidate doesn't have CKA, they're required to pass CKA within 3 month after joining) * Strong sense of responsibility to keep the stability of the system, and to output artefacts by deadline * Deep understanding of kubernetes/container/linux and its operation * Experience of designing and developing web services * Experience of system infrastructure engineering * Experience of git * Basic knowledge of data structures/design patterns * Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP * Basic knowledge of distributed system * Experience of large scale system operation (+100 servers) * Business Level English Skill Welcome Skills: * Proficient in Golang * Participate in open source activities * OSS contributor * Bachelor/Master's degree around computer science, engineering, or related fields. * Experience of automation of large scale system operation Experience of development of middle~large scale application Experience of multiple monitoring tool (prometheus, cortex, grafana, datadog, newrelic, elasticsearch, kibana, etc) * Private/Public cloud experience Job Offer * Comprehensive benefits included (Health Insurance, Pension, Employment Insurance, etc.) * Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30 * Competitive salary * Overtime Allowance * Commuting Allowance * Merit based promotion system To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
