Job Description |
As the person in charge of the Japanese subsidiary of a media research company that operates in over 50 countries around the world, focusing on internet viewership data, you will be responsible for providing and operating effective human resources services in Japan. [Role Responsibility] ・Providing and operating effective human resources services in Japan - Collaborate with Japanese business leaders and become part of the East Asia HR team ・Provide HR activities that require regional, national, and local contexts - Accountability for local deployment and delivery of HR processes, projects and change programs determined at corporate/business/functional level. - Includes responsibility for compliance, diversity and inclusion development, monitoring, and compliance with region-wide policies and procedures. -Advise, coach, and partner with leaders in implementing company policies, procedures, and best practices to achieve effective and consistent human resources management. - Provide effective employee relations and a positive workplace culture locally. - Manage projects and local components of broader change programs. - Collaborate with Global/Regional Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Talent, Engagement & Development) to consistently implement employment value proposition, culture, leadership, and engagement initiatives across regions. do. - Identify, design, and implement country-specific initiatives in the areas of onboarding, employee relations, total rewards, benefits, compensation, learning, engagement, and internal communications. -Work closely with the Regional HR Leader and other local HR leaders to identify, streamline and deliver effective and optimal HR services. - Partner with local corporate functions (Finance, Legal, Integrity, Real Estate) to ensure integration of HR operations and policies with larger regional and country-specific operational needs, including budget, compliance, and regulatory requirements. -Ensure that all operations adhere to the utmost integrity and compliance in all regulatory matters. |

Job Requirements |
【Prerequisite】 ・Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, law or related field - 8-12 years of HR experience across various aspects of HR functions in large and/or multinational companies - 5+ years of experience as a generalist providing support across various HR sub-functions to distributed groups. ・Extensive knowledge of HR best practices including employee relations, compensation, talent sourcing, development, and employment law. ・Knowledge of Japanese employment laws, regulations, procedures, and personnel issues - Extensive change management skills and ability to apply project management principles to enable and support organizational change. -Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial or conflicting situations, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. ・Proactive problem-solving ability, daily decision-making ability, flexible response, initiative, and can-do attitude ・People who are willing to learn hands-on by leading or participating in various local/regional/global projects in a rapidly growing environment. ・Have a strong mind with resilience ・Enjoy the challenge ・Experience managing employee relations issues ・Experience managing payroll vendors/in-house payroll specialists (desirable) ・Experience in global HR transformation (desirable) ・Experience in a rapidly growing organization (desirable) - Solid IT skills including use of SAP or similar HR database, MS Office, GoogleSuite -Excellent verbal and written communication skills with various levels within the organization. ・Fluent English and Japanese |
