Job Description Embedded software development for spacecraft, including landers and other transportation system elements.
Identify software requirements from the system level and translate them into software design, architecture, and implementation that meet the requirements.
Collaborate with other subsystem engineers such as avionics, ground segment, and systems engineers and facilitate appropriately with other design and analysis team members such as software architecture design, component or technology selection, including decision making and purchasing decisions , carry out.
Design the software architecture by selecting a DSP/microprocessor, develop the BSP, and evaluate the feasibility of the design to meet the requirements.
Properly manage schedule, cost, and quality. Also, break down component functionality into tasks, track status and issues, and share and report with leads and managers accordingly.
Develop software using the best and latest development methods, building reliability, quality and conserving resources.
Design, code, review, integrate, test, support, and enhance software solutions for spacecraft motion control, command, communications, power and data management, fault protection, etc. We will also explain the relevant documentation and update it accordingly at each phase.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement spacecraft software, define and execute required tests.

Requirements		 5+ years of experience designing and coding embedded software for high-reliability applications
5+ years of experience of software architect and/or system engineers
Strong leadership and communication skills not only with software engineers, but also with other subsystem engineers and customers.
Deep understanding of real-time OS and embedded software.
Experience with bus, communication, networking and protocols (RS-422, PCI, Ethernet, Space Wire and etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Proficient in C programming language
Business level English
5+ years of experience in embedded software design and coding for high reliability applications
5+ years of software architect experience
Solid communication skills and leadership with internal and external stakeholders and customers
Deep understanding of real-time OS and embedded software
Experience with bus, communications, and network protocols (RS-422, PCI, Ethernet, SpaceWire, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Proficient in C programming language
