An IB world school, YIS provides a pre-K through Gr.12 education beginning with our Early Childhood Program (ages 3-5), which offers a blend of the Reggio Emilia program within a PYP framework. From pre-K-5, the curriculum is PYP, while in the middle school we are phased-in MYP implementation. The high school offers the DP.

Besides the Head of School, the senior leadership team consists of a Secondary Principal, Elementary Principal, a Head of Academics and Head of School Operations. The school is a not-for-profit organization, governed by an elected Board of Directors, most of whom are YIS parents.
