We had the chance to talk with Ms. Mana Miura, director and learning designer at Crimson Education Japan. She is a Waseda University graduate and has studied abroad in Finland. She told us more about how she joined Crimson Education and how it feels to work here
"Before joining Crimson, I was working for an education start-up company which was developing an application that would help high-school students with their learning. While I felt motivated to be a part of a project that would have an impact on the lives of many high school students, I felt that I wanted to get closer to the students, offering more personalized help. I also wanted to make use of my own study abroad experience, standing on a global stage, so I took on the challenge to reform education in Japan and the world."
“Everyone is truly passionate about education. We enjoy every day while working hard towards our goals."
What makes you motivated at work?"I love witnessing the moment when high-schoolers realize their potential, likes, and interests and find their goal for learning. I also love seeing the students that I am supporting or have supported in the past succeeding in their projects in society and helping those around them"
Any message for the candidates?
"We are still a small start-up team, but each of the members is truly passionate about education and does their best at work. Why don't you join us and broaden the possibilities of students, who will be the future of Japan and of the world! We are looking forward to meeting you! "
