In the WYS exchange program, Japanese high school students are sent to 12 countries and foreign high school students are accepted from 20 countries. Participation in community activities will be a valuable experience for each exchange student, and can be a great asset for the future.
For the WYS staff who support students from Japan and incoming students from abroad, it is also a way to experience different cultures together with the students while in Japan, and to play a part in the education of international understanding . I would say it is a rewarding job.
