Job Description |
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in managing and delivering large scale IT systems, preferably travel and hospitality related, for Japanese customers with strong bilingual (Japanese and English) skills. Key Responsibilities: ・Project management and support ・Coordination with offshore development team Key Expectations: ・Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously ・Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs ・Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations in Japanese to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders ・Deliver effective executive level communication with various customer stake holders ・Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline ・Ability to liaise with offshore team and be flexible to operate in different time zones ・Proactive in addressing risk and managing issues |

Job Requirements |
【必要経験】 ・Hold valid Japan work permit and Japan residence card ・Currently reside in Japan and can have face to face interviews at Tokyo Office ・Minimum of 6-8 year experience in managing and delivering large scale IT systems, preferably travel and hospitality related. ・A proven, successful track record of project management support working with Japanese customers and offshore delivery teams ・Strong command of Japanese (JLPT N1 or N2) ・Good command of English (TOEIC 850 or above) ・Capability of interacting with team/customer proactively 【あると望ましい経験】 ・Comfortable MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint operation ・Micro services, Java, HTML, application deployment type experience a plus ・Flexibility to handle work other than translation/interpretation ・Capability to adjust to a different working environment (such as customer sites) ・Skills to facilitate internal/external communications ・Skills to build good relationship with customers ・Teamwork, cooperativeness ・Willing to work long term acquiring industry specific knowledge ・Candidate should be highly flexible, adaptable and willing to do whatever is required to achieve the role expectations, operating within the boundaries of the organization code of conduct, policies and the law of the land. |
