Job Description Key Responsibilities:
・Responsible for partner development and partner portfolio management
・Build and foster strategic alliances with partners and ISVs
・Develop new businesses that contributes to the company’s strategic goals
・Scout and evaluate for potential new ISV partners and turn these prospects into increased business partnerships in the area of software and cloud
・Utilize existing networks to identify new potential partners
・Build strategic linkages to other software ecosystems that will complement our ecosystem of hardware, software, cloud and services
・Build robust pipeline of partnership opportunities that are aligned with the overall company’s growth goals and for the cloud marketplace
・Work with business and partner development teams from other business units to pursue common partner candidates with maximized synergy
・Plan approaches and pitches while working with relevant internal teams such as engineering, product management, finance, marketing and legal to develop proposals that speak to the partner’s needs, concerns and objectives
・Handle alignment and negotiation of partnership agreements with partners and lead through differences to a positive conclusion
・Lead both onboarding of partner ISVs on the Cloud Marketplace and integration of our technologies to partner solutions
・Collaborate with business unit management and product management on business trends with the goal to drive the development of new services, products and partnership models
・Identify opportunities for promotional campaigns and co-marketing opportunities that will lead to increase of sales for entire portfolio
・Attend industry events and conferences and provide insights on markets and technology trends
・Definition and adjustment of the ecosystem approach APAC and China – Strategy and Execution
・For ISV Partnerships, Startup-Community especially in the area of Cloud, Mobil and Digitalization
・Project Support for Technology Solution Business Unit.
・Supporting the 3 Opportunities/Initiatives for Japan:
  o Internet+
  o ePaper
  o Industry 4.0 including 3D
Company Info - A Japanese major electronic product manufacturer which produces pen & tablet for personal and professional creator, hardware component and relevant software product.
- A global number one supplier for the pen & tablet product, and moving ahead on the digital ink technology.
- Just changing the way with the launch of its Global Cloud Marketplace and digital pen and ink technologies. Growing the team with a Senior Partner Manager to bring more partners and products into the Marketplace.
- Accelerating using English as a company official language
- Looking for a Senior Partner Manager with a good knowledge of pen and ink Technologies and Cloud based service offerings for global markets.
Working Hours 9am - 6pm incl. lunch hours
・Strong technical knowledge of software and cloud solutions is a must
・A career focused on software distribution, partner alliance and partnership management within the last 5-7 years in sales and/or marketing
・This will include working knowledge of managed migration services, support and integration of partners on software marketplaces
・Solid network of ISVs, software start-ups and ecosystem companies
・Experience gathering customer’s requirements, writing pitches and proposals
・Passion for innovations and pen and ink technologies
・Very strong negotiation skills, leading agreements effectively to positive results
・Very strong presentation skills, presenting to Partners, Customers and Internal Executives
・Experience in partner management for cloud marketplaces is a strong plus
・Master, Computer Science or Engineering degree are a plus
・Fluent English in written and spoken form
・Working experience in global / international teams
・Business Development skills
Need to provide application documents in both Japanese and English.
