•In client management and consultancy; you will demonstrate an advanced level of knowledge in Marketing research and an understanding of our clients’ business. This includes delivering effective advice and consultancy to our clients as well as proactively supporting Account Management and Client Consulting members to generate a consistent stream of impactful and profitable proposals.
•Taking a leading role in integrating knowledge of Kantar tools, philosophies and techniques, you will apply these appropriately to the design, analysis and interpretation of projects to deliver meaningful insights that are translated into engaging stories with clear and concise implications helping clients make better decisions.
•Provide consultation and analysis on Innovation & Product Development projects and provide IPD leadership and inspiration to the Insights business in Japan to ensure design and outputs are contemporary, focused and actionable.
•Manage and develop a high performing and engaged team to create a culture which fosters collaboration, growth and learning. Delegate tasks to the team effectively, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure account responsibilities and deliverables are met according to agreed timelines.

•The candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant (client / agency) experience, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
•Ideally, the candidate will have experience in Innovation & Product Development types of research, and aspire to build thought leadership in this space.
•Acting as a trusted advisor to our esteemed clients, the candidate must demonstrate confidence, gravitas and strong interpersonal skills in client facing situations.
•Commercially driven, you are able to develop and implement new business strategies with the senior team and respond to and drive new business opportunities from time to time.
•You are able to undertake resource planning across the business with senior team to ensure all accounts meet business and client needs.
•You are able to inspire and motivate the team to deliver their best work and continuously improve the client relationship through up-skilling and support across the client service team.
•Knowledge of consumer insights specific to Japanese market will be advantageous.
•Native/Fluent Japanese Speaker / Business English
