Job Description Our client, a global leader in e-commerce and digital services, is looking for dedicated Linux server engineer to

manage infrastructure, automating processes, and collaborating with users to improve their experience.


Description

* Build distributed systems across multiple regions using open-source tools.
* Manage bare-metal servers and virtual machines.
* Use tools like Git, Ansible, Chef, and Jenkins to release new features.
* Troubleshoot issues on Linux systems and apply long-term fixes.
* Create APIs and automation scripts to improve the platform.
* Work with users to understand their needs and make the platform better.
* Suggest and add new features to improve the logging system.


Profile

* Able to write design docs or proposals and work with others to get agreement.
* Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and web protocols like TCP, HTTP, TLS, DNS, and BGP.
* Skilled in scripting (e.g., Python) or compiled languages (e.g., Go).
* Good understanding of how software is developed and released (SDLC).
* Uses a structured approach to find and fix problems.
* Basic knowledge of data center computing and networking.
* Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team.
