In the auto industry, which is undergoing a period of change, the AI and Digital Project (currently the AI and Digital Office) was established on June 1, 2019 to promote the Group's digital transformation, including the creation of new next-generation businesses and the shift to smart factories, by utilizing the Group's data and other assets and technologies, such as AI. Currently, more than 40 projects are underway. ▼Recruitment Background In order to create unprecedented new business, they are actively recruiting professionals in various fields from outside, such as AI engineers and people with experience in business promotion in the mobility field. However, there is still a lack of human resources in response to the ever-expanding projects. ▼Responsibilities As an AI engineer, you will be assigned to one of the following two projects dealing with AI and digital room image data. You will be considered during the selection process, taking into account your own nucleus and suitability for the job. 【Smart Factory】 ■Overview You will be responsible for developing complex and innovative AI models and recognition architectures that meet business needs by utilizing deep learning and machine learning technologies in our group's smart factory area that utilizes AI and ICT technologies. ■Details In a PoC project for smart factory, you will be in charge of developing AI models mainly in the area of image recognition (object detection, posture estimation, etc.), PoC verification, etc. 【Smart Factory PJ】 You will be assigned to one of the themes selected in collaboration with other related departments in our group (mainly in the student engineering department and factory of our company), such as automation of visual inspection, automation of robot teaching, stabilization of electrical and mechanical dimensions, etc. The number of themes may increase in the future, so there is a possibility that you may be assigned to a new theme. ■Development Environment ・Language: Python ・Cloud ︓ AWS (EMR, EC2) ・Others︓Jetson, GitHub, Slack, backlog ■Attractiveness of this position ・You can experience the development of AI technology in smart factories. ・You can do "work" that has a great sense of touch and a large scope of influence.
