Job Description 【Overview】
The company is looking for an application engineer in charge of developing services for "GMO deferred payment" and "GMO-PG money transfer service", which are finance-related businesses (money service business).

【Your Role】
You will be in charge of planning/development/operation of post-payment products and remittance service products provided by the company. The company is looking for someone who can contribute to and pursue the following management philosophy by pursuing the provision of services that will bring smiles to the faces of everyone involved, including merchants and their customers.

◇Planning/system design/construction/maintenance of GMO deferred payment system or GMO-PG remittance system
　・Planning and proposal for service improvement and value enhancement
　・Application development (Web API, Batch) using Java (Spring Framework)
　・Overall architecture design, middleware and tool selection
　・Monitoring, performance and capacity adjustment, alert response

◇Problem solving for companies and settlement providers of all sizes, from startups, mega-ventures, and major corporations to financial institutions using our services
　・Consulting for introduction support and construction of payment systems
　・Settlement consulting
　・Negotiation and coordination with system administrators of settlement providers such as financial institutions, various pay providers, etc.

Requirements		 【MUST】*Meet any of the following
・Knowledge and experience in web application development 3+ years
・Not averse to programming and other engineering tasks

【WANT】*Meet any of the following
・Experience in DB design and SQL tuning
・Experience in system operation and fault handling
・Experience in EC web application development, preferably for payment related projects
・Major EC (mall) operators or their system development companies
　(e.g. Yahoo!, Rakuten, etc. (EC sites of our member stores are also acceptable)
・Java/Spring Framework/Spring Boot
・Able to design in consideration of load when a large number of transactions are generated.
・Able to design with high availability in mind
