Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Engineer with Higashiyama Niseko Village, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Are you a jack-of-all-trades with a passion for problem-solving? As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our hotel's operations. From preventive maintenance to guest room repairs and ensuring safety, you'll keep our property running smoothly. Responsibilities: Respond to guest repair requests Maintain and inspect equipment Troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing systems Ensure safety and follow procedures We're looking for someone with: Basic knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Strong communication and customer service skills A valid driver's license (preferred) At Niseko Village, there are opportunities for fast career growth and to work at other facilities as the Ritz-Carlton expands its operations in Niseko! Working Hours | Shift based system, depending on the needs of the hotel and guests. There is a night shift, between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM (Night Work includes extra compensation). |

Essential Qualifications (Must-Haves): Basic proficiency/ability to learn: HVAC & refrigeration Electrical & mechanical systems Plumbing Pneumatic/electronic controls Carpentry & finish work Kitchen equipment Vehicle maintenance Energy conservation General building maintenance Ability to: Perform surface prep, painting, minor drywall/wood trim repair, and cleanup Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and common guestroom items Repair interior/exterior landscaping & sprinklers Perform housekeeping & engineering inventory duties Use Lockout/Tagout Follow safety/security procedures Lift/move up to 50 lbs Use basic computer skills Valid driver's license (preferred) Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. Salary negotiable based on experience and certifications! Dormitory-style housing, where you can feel the community at Niseko Village! Education Training Social Insurance Free 24 hour Onsen! Assistance in gaining engineering certificates! Meal Allowance of 500 yen per day, set to increase in the coming months! Yearly salary increase and bonus (depending on performance of the hotel.) |
