Recruitment Background We are seeking a candidate for a core position in our financial accounting operations as we expand globally. This position allows you to utilize your accounting skills in a global environment, from consolidated financial statement practices to the creation and analysis of financial statements. You will contribute to the company's growth from a finance perspective as a playing manager, collaborating with superiors and finance/accounting group members in various countries. Furthermore, you will be very close to businesses such as our trading and consulting operations, and you will naturally acquire a sense of business, including trade and consulting, through your daily work. Specific Duties Oversee accounting and tax processing in various countries (including reviewing journal entries and payment processing) Review of individual country financial statements and preparation of consolidated financial statements (monthly closing, quarterly results, annual results) Analysis and reporting of financial statements Consolidated financial accounting based on IFRS Planning and execution of financial and tax strategies Coordination with audit firms, tax accountants, and financial institutions Optimization of finance and accounting workflows |

| Job Requirements |
Qualifications (MUST) Practical experience in consolidated financial accounting (experience in overall management is not required) Basic understanding of the consolidated financial accounting process (procedures, how to incorporate financial statements, understanding of the concept of initial journal entries and differences in book value between consolidated and individual entities) Practical experience in individual entity accounting and closing Input experience such as journal entry input and bank payment data creation is not required, but a level of understanding of the general flow of individual entity accounting and bank payments, and the ability to review individual entity financial statements (monthly closing) English accounting skills Ability to read English accounts and financial statements Ability to create journal entries in English Qualifications (WANT) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or US Certified Public Accountant (USCPA) qualification Business-level English conversation skills (ability to communicate in English on a conversational basis) Experience as a finance/accounting manager in a startup or venture company Experience in funds management or tax audit response Desire to share the merits of Japan with the world Desired Qualities Individuals who can embrace new things positively and have a desire to grow Individuals who feel a sense of fulfillment in their achievements being directly linked to the overall business Individuals who demonstrate leadership and want to contribute to the growth of the team |
