Job Description |
You will be responsible for Accounts Receivable Management and related public relations at DEGICA Inc. You will be responsible for maintaining healthy cash flow primarily through the following tasks: • Follow up on unpaid receivables from individual customers, affiliated stores (merchants), and partner companies • Implement risk management • Chargeback management and fraudulent transaction response specific to the payment business • Improve the receivables collection process and resolve irregular cases Main duties: Billing and payment management • Follow up on late payments and unpaid accounts (dunning and reminders) • Strengthen customer payment trend analysis and risk management Receivables collection work • Responses when late payments and fraudulent transactions occur (phone, email, on-site investigation, etc.) • Cooperation with related internal departments, lawyers, consumer centers, and debt collection companies • Negotiations with government agencies Chargeback and dispute management • Handling chargebacks for credit cards, etc. • Handling cases of fraudulent transactions and payment refusals, and supporting affiliated stores Process improvement and system optimization • Optimize business processes in cooperation with finance, accounting, and customer service departments Complaint handling • Handling and centralized management of complaints using telephone and email, etc. • Handling and resolving irregular cases Responses to anti-social forces • Formulation of an internal scheme and initial response • Collaboration with related organizations such as the police and anti-violence centers |

Working Hours |
Flextime, 8-hour shift Core time: 10:00-15:00 *Remote work is possible, and depending on the department and position, full remote work is also possible. During the trial period, you will mainly work in the office. After that, you will work from home and in the office at the same time, or fully remotely. ■You can freely decide your working hours as long as they are within the core time (10:00-15:00 Japan time). If you are working outside of Japan, we can accommodate more flexible work arrangements, but we would prefer that your working hours overlap with Japanese business hours. |
Job Requirements |
Required skills and experience • Practical experience in accounts receivable management-related work (1 year or more) • Basic knowledge of finance and payment-related matters • Document creation, data management and analysis skills using Word, Excel and Google Sheets • Japanese (native level), English (basic level for university graduates) Welcome skills and experience • Practical experience in chargeback and fraudulent transaction management • Experience working in the fintech and payment industry • Experience in debt collection work • Experience working in a call center (customer service center, etc.) Desired personality • Good at deadline management • Able to negotiate tenaciously • Able to understand the overall picture of the work while paying attention to details • Able to communicate smoothly with stakeholders (both inside and outside the company) • Able to respond flexibly to the ever-changing fintech industry |
