■Job Description Data Engineers will build, maintain, and operate a system and infrastructure that can organize data within the company and utilize it for business purposes. In addition, in order to utilize the data that Caddy has, we expect the candidate to not only build a pipeline for data collection, but also to lead the promotion of data utilization. Examples of work are shown below. Actual work is not limited to these. ■Recruitment Background At CADDi, we are developing a data platform product for the manufacturing industry called "CADDi Drawer" with the mission of "unleashing the potential of the manufacturing industry." Launched in 2022, "CADDi Drawer" uses various technologies such as machine learning to structure drawing data, which is said to be the most important data in the manufacturing industry, and links it with various information, making it possible to use it as an information asset. It is already being used by customers from major domestic manufacturers to processing companies, and is growing rapidly. From 2023, we will also start selling overseas (USA, Thailand, Vietnam), accelerating our global expansion. In the future, we aim to achieve overall optimization beyond departments and companies by reproducing and consolidating manufacturing knowledge beyond drawings using technology. In terms of development, there are many themes we would like to tackle, such as strengthening the functionality as a data platform, developing multiple new applications that run on the platform, and strengthening the foundation to withstand the exponentially increasing number of users and data volume. We are looking for colleagues to work with us on product development that is difficult and challenging. |

Job Requirements |
<Required skills> ・3+ years of business development experience related to MLOps, SRE, and Data Engineering ・Experience developing and operating data pipelines using public cloud services such as Google Cloud and AWS ・Experience proposing and leading projects that utilize data, and the data analysis required for them ・Experience in team development and operation using Git, CI/CD, Docker, Linux, etc. ・Basic knowledge of algorithms related to data analysis and computer science ・Experience with data analysis using BigQuery ・Business communication skills in Japanese ・Ability to complete daily tasks in Japanese, including text communication and meetings ・Example: Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2 level, about 3 years of work experience in a Japanese environment, etc. <Welcome skills> ・General knowledge of computer networks ・Experience operating container-related technologies such as Kubernetes ・Practical experience with IaC (terraform, puppet, ansible, etc.) ・Experience using data pipeline technologies such as Airflow, Apache Beam, and Spark ・Datadog, New Experience monitoring data pipelines with the latest solutions such as Relic and Grafana Experience using Elasticsearch in a production environment Experience with application development or analysis using Rust, Python, or Go Experience with Data Lake and Feature Experience building and operating a store, etc. ・Development experience considering load and scalability in large-scale services ・Experience planning and promoting data utilization measures for both inside and outside the company using Redash, etc. ・Experience planning and promoting master data management ・Business-level English skills <Desired personality> ・Someone who sympathizes with CADDY's mission of "unleashing the potential of the manufacturing industry" ・Someone who can face essential issues and take action to solve them with a sense of ownership ・Someone who can select the necessary or optimal method for automated testing, taking into account the business situation and organizational strategy, rather than necessarily relying on automated testing (HOW) ・Someone who has the attitude to discuss with stakeholders from a broad perspective, not just "how to ensure quality and how to improve processes," but also "why quality is important and what should we focus on now?"
