Job Description PHOENIX7 is a startup focused on developing online video slot games.

We’re currently hiring a Japanese-English Interpreter to join either our Development Department or Overseas Business Promotion Department.

【Key Responsibilities】
・Consecutive interpretation during video conferences with overseas partners (Malta, Ukraine, EU, etc.)
・Interpretation during international business trips (meetings, expos, etc.)
・Translation of contracts, emails, proposals, and related documents (EN⇄JP)
・Research on overseas markets, regulations, and industry news
・Support for department management (planning, contracts, scheduling)

・Daily interpreting in meetings with international teams
・Opportunity to guide discussions by summarizing and bridging cultural context
・Potential business trips to Europe (UK, Spain, Malta) up to twice a year

Schedule: 11:00–20:00 (8-hour workday)

Requirements
[Required Qualifications]
・Japanese: Fluent to native level
・English: Business level or higher
・Ability to travel overseas

[Preferred Qualifications]
・Experience in interpretation and translation
・Experience in secretarial work
・Experience in game-related interpretation and translation is a plus
・Passion for games or experience working in the gaming industry

[Ideal Candidate]
・Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with internal and external teams
・Entrepreneurial mindset, excited about company growth and change
・Flexible and adaptable to working with international teams
・Experience interpreting in B2B meetings and with multiple participants is highly valued.
English Level Business Conversation Level (TOEIC 735-860)

Salary JPY - Japanese Yen JPY 4000K - JPY 7000K

【Expected Annual Salary】
・¥4.2 million to ¥7 million
・Salary will be determined based on experience, skills, and your previous salary
・Includes fixed overtime allowance (30 hours/month)
