Job Description |
* Provide expertise to design, analysis and reporting of clinical trials in Japan * Develop protocols and statistical analysis plans in line with clinical development plans for Japan Description You will play a pivotal role in advancing our client's oncology and hematology pipeline through strategic planning, clinical trial design, and execution. Key responsibilities will include: * Leading the clinical development strategy for oncology and hematology programs, encompassing both early and late-stage development. * Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including clinical operations, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and translational medicine to ensure alignment with overall corporate objectives. * Providing medical expertise and guidance throughout the development process, including protocol development, investigator meetings, and regulatory interactions. * Overseeing clinical trial conduct, data analysis, and interpretation to drive informed decision-making. * Building strong relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and external partners to facilitate successful program execution and adoption. * Contributing to the preparation of regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities. * Keeping abreast of emerging scientific and clinical developments in oncology and hematology to inform program strategy and decision-making. * Mentoring and supporting junior members of the clinical development team. Profile * Medical Doctor (MD) degree with specialization in oncology, hematology, or related field. * Prior experience in clinical development within the pharmaceutical industry or academic healthcare setting is preferred. * Strong understanding of clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory requirements in oncology/hematology. * Native-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English is required. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across diverse stakeholders. * Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. * Strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation and delivering impactful results. * Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
