Job Description Job Purpose

・ Establish the site and business structure, with the support from HR, Facility, IT, Finance and provide local leadership, integration, and people management to ensure ongoing service delivery.

・ Set up, manage, and execute project activities, deliverables, and required tasks as per the project timeline, scope and budget.

・ Preparation of project status reports while following established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation, to keep stakeholders of all levels informed of project status and related issues.

・ Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to identify and monitor escalation of issues, project risks, resolution of conflicts and requests for changes from the original specifications

・ Japanese Payroll and Accounting & Tax Service operations, manages service delivery, ensuring excellent quality of services are delivered in high quality and timely manner.

・ Work with management team to ensure efficient and effective cooperation across different teams.

・ Analyze client demands, translate into solutions, and maintain relationships with clients’ management

・ Manage the transition of Payroll service work from the our office in Tokyo to the Delivery Centre in Fukuoka in a structured and organized manner for all service lines.

・ Coordinate and conduct knowledge transfer and onboarding sessions for internal stakeholders affected by the implementation of the new processes, and organisation structure.

・ Ensure processes & service quality are delivered in high quality and timely managed.

・ Manage the relationship and workstreams associated with external parties such as the Office landlord, the recruitment agency, the city government, and others. Ensure Fukuoka is compliant with provision of all legislation and governance requirements.

・ Assist in the execution of change management activities as required by the delivery teams in Tokyo.

・ Plan, execute and monitor fit-gap assessments and service readiness assessments for the Go Live of every client at the Fukuoka Delivery Centre.

Requirements

Qualifications

・ Bachelor Degree from Business Management/ Accounting/Finance/Human Resource Management is asset

・ A minimum of 8 years of experience in Corporate Accounting&Tax, or Human Resources&Payroll, or equivalent

・ Ideally with 5 years of relevant experience of transition for complex projects and in a managerial role.

・ Experience working on multiple projects

・ Knowledge of Japanese social insurance, labor law and tax law

・ Able to review and process payroll calculations

・ Managing teams providing direct client services from a delivery centre type environment to enhance delivery.

・ Continuous improvement and service-oriented mindset; consistently reviews processes and procedures to reduce delivery time, drive efficiency and effectiveness and improve client experience.

・ Shapes the environment to foster a drive toward achievement, learning, Innovation, and teamwork within a shared service environment

・ Experience in set up delivery capabilities and office from ground level.

・ Experience in full life-cycle project development including requirements, design, development, testing, and roll-out



Preferred Qualifications

・ Knowledgeable in-Service Transition methodology (also called Migration methodology), tools, and templates

・ Takes a pro-active approach to problem solving. Identifies critical concerns and prioritizes.

・ Excellent communication skills- must be able to communicate fluently in English and Japanese, both verbally and in writing

・ Previous experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) /SSC/Centralized delivery model will be an advantage

・ Proficient using Payroll Software or any related application

・ Demonstrated experience in analysing a business issue and developing a future state recommendation

・ Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills

・ Project Management Certifications are a plus

・ Proficient using Microsoft office application especially Microsoft Excel

・ Ability to work independently
