Overview: An established company of 25 years based in Osaka and recently invested in by a prominent entity is seeking a skilled Development Team Leader. This individual will manage a small software engineering team, requiring strong technical proficiency in Windows, Linux, KVM, Apache, and LAMP technologies, with a focus on agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a software engineering team, overseeing the development and maintenance of platforms, billing tools, and a control panel using PHP, Python, and Perl. Collaborate with the engineering leader to align technical strategies with the goal of expanding into the B2B market. Drive the development of software solutions, focusing on VPS (Virtual Private Servers), edge computing, and cutting-edge technologies for low-latency and potentially GPU hosting for AI. Implement Agile or similar methodologies to enhance team efficiency and meet aggressive business plans. Additional Information: Competitive compensation with potential for higher performance bonuses. Opportunity for career growth and an eventual expectation to move into a CTO role within 5 years. Willingness to occasionally relocate for business purposes and work in a partially remote office environment. Nice to have Qualifications: Familiarity with healthcare-focused software development for security and privacy needs, particularly in clinics.
