Job Description Position Details
We're finding an eligible candidate for Manager who leads an engineering team responsible for development and operation on Rakuten Ichiba and its related Mobile Apps.
Recently Mobile App is considered as one of our crucial channel which acquires royal users and increasing its importance. As Manager, you will run the engineering team to deliver quality Mobile Apps in timely manner and address such high business demand. You are expected to demonstrate your capabilities on people management, technical review, project management and so on.
The position matches with those who are interested in engineering and management and wants to develop career on both areas.

Responsibilities:
• Manage engineering team (Tracking of ongoing projects, Resource assignment, Issue management)
• People Management (Commitment of members growth)
• Take communication with stakeholders for development (explanation, reporting, coordination)
• Understanding the requirements, verify the validity of schedule and estimation
• Review and verify system design and test detail
• Response and handle about regular system operation, various inquiries and urgent troubles
• Instruct and manage improvements for operation to keep stable system
• Propose improvement based on quantitative/qualitative analysis and determine priorities
• Evaluate and select of technologies and development methods
• Vendor management
