The idea was born when they found that current ‘mystery shop’ companies were providing only limited mystery shop services in local areas. The Bares wanted to set up a company that would make consistent services available at a national level. Originally called “Restaurant & Hotel Services” (RHS), the company’s base was in the hospitality industry. For many years, Restaurant and Hotel Services provided Mystery Shop Guests and Integrity Audits to hotel and restaurant chains across the USA. In 1999, RHS became Bare Associates International, based upon the addition of an overseas office in Antwerp, Belgium. Since then, BARE has grown exponentially in the global marketplace. Now, in addition to the Antwerp, Belgium office, BARE has offices in cities around the world including: Budapest, Hungary; Mumbai, India; Shanghai, China; Sao Paulo, Brazil and Santiago, Chile. On any given day, BARE International is doing business for clients in over 100 countries thus completing over 30,000 audits each month. |
