Shell Japan Co., Ltd. is a Japanese corporation wholly owned by Royal Dutch Shell. His main role is to build and maintain relationships with Japanese customers, partners and a wide range of stakeholders in the areas of liquefied natural gas (LNG), new energy, chemicals, projects & technologies.
We also launched a business unit that conducts electricity trading in Japan, and started trading electricity in Japan. Completed the registration of a retail electricity supplier in November 2018 and became a trading member of the Japan Electric Power Exchange (JEPX) in January 2019.
